The only way is to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

To fix this country is obviously more regulation, more aid, and more taxes on the rich.  Think about the countless people saved by seat belts and immolation by McD's coffee through Safety!  The private sector will never keep us safe.  They would just as soon kill all of their customer to make a few schillings.

For instance, there is this scourge..

Being truly concerned for your safety and well-being, dear friends, I regret to inform you that you most certainly live in the vicinity of a silent killer. An unassuming, if not outdated design concept, ever-present, and insidious as ever: The Stairs!

They have killed countless tens over the last few hundred years, and are a scourge to the most vulnerable members of our society, the elderly and the drunk.

I propose sweeping and compassionate reform, aimed at destroying this enemy of the American Way! First we must condemn all multi-storied structures, second we must level all inclines, and third, we must fill in all basements.

Let us not let the drunken elderly down friends! Only when the horror, the terror, the sheer nerve that is The Stairs are defeated can we rest in sweet drunken bliss, knowing we will not meet our fate on a trip to the bathroom.
